About the Artist

Miriam Hurt Warfield

 A native Memphian with a degree and background in media, writing, and production, Miriam transitioned into fine jewelry sales and is still enjoying the field.  While creating special décor for store events and others over the years, she discovered her biggest passion – creating what she calls “jewelry for the walls.”

In her Mixed Media/Resin art, she combines various techniques and an assortment of colors, textures, and materials that she typically tops with high gloss, non-yellowing resin.  Every piece is created to literally reflect enough light, color, dimension, and whimsy to suit her fancy and Selective Lady’s standards.

Of her richly colored, reflective pieces, Miriam says, “my highest hope is that my art will be like fine jewelry – a ‘forever’ source of delightful ‘adornment’ wherever it goes to stay.“
